電容的DF值

僅供參考........
以下所測出的數據，只是用掌上型LCR表在1KHz狀態下所測得，並不代表官方及實驗室的數據。加上有些電容年代較為久遠，接腳沒清乾淨，也會影響測出的數值。
不過從這些數據中，可以稍稍看出一些好聲的端倪：Black Gate在同樣的容值下，DF值都比其他的電解電容低；有好評的Nichicon MUSE KZ也是相當好。反而一些歐洲的電容，DF都比較大，可是卻又廣泛為HiEnd廠家使用........
所以，看看就好。

DF似乎與音質無關 [回覆]

十幾年前，我就曾想用DF值來找出＂好聲＂的電容，只可惜，我覺得我失敗了。

因為跟電解電容相比，塑料電容的DF值一般會更小，但是實際試聽，音質卻似乎與材質跟製造品牌的關係更大。

而即使把試驗組侷限在電解電容中，結果也是相同。所以我個人的看法是：＂DF跟音質沒有關聯＂。

另一種可能是，DF所造成的差異，在我過去的系統中無法辨別....

最近常在想，有必要為了自己還無法辨別的差異花大錢嗎？

雖然也許花了錢之後就能辨別了... :-(

DA(dielectric absorption )比較不好測量，不少前輩的文章普遍認定它比DF更殺音質，您手邊若有《音響光碟合輯》，看一下 "電容器對音質真有影響嗎？" 這篇，網路上也有原文刊載，類似的量測技巧文章也不少。

Well, big caps typically aren't as good as small caps, unfortunately, and the bypassing trick doesn't always work - in my experience, bypassed caps can have the worst qualities of each cap, along with an odd phasey sound that neither has on its own (film and electrolytic being the worst).

This isn't surprising, since when you measure Dielectric Absorption (DA) on a meter, when caps are paralleled, the bad cap (even if it is much smaller) dominates the measurement. When measuring cables, for instance, the 1pF collar around the RCA/cinch inner pin can dominate the dielectrics in the rest of the cable, negating, for example, the good qualities of Teflon.

Interestingly, when caps are in series, the good one dominates the DA measurement. So you can "upgrade" a cable simply by wrapping each insulated conductor by a better dielectric. (This is why a seeming silly action like wrapping a cable with a cotton jacket can make a difference sonically. You're not imagining it, it's measurable on the DA measurement.)
